Victor Raschi was a MLB pitcher from 1946-1955; he played the majority of his MLB career with the New York Yankees from 1946-1953. Career highlights include:

• MLB win-loss record of 132-66
• ERA 3.72 with 944 strikeouts
• 4-time All Star
• 6-time World Series Champion
• AL strikeout leader in 1951

Vic Raschi retired in Geneseo, NY where he coached at SUNY Geneseo. In 1975, SUNY Geneseo dedicated the Vic Raschi Softball Field which is currently the home of SUNY Geneseo's Women's Softball team. Vic Raschi died in 1988 at the age of 69 in Groveland, NY.
